2023 is already halfway over, and as the music industry continues to evolve, Luminate has released its annual mid-year report, providing insights into the top trends and the most-consumed albums and songs in the United States during the first six months of the year.
Unsurprisingly, country singer Morgan Wallen takes the lead by a significant margin with his album One Thing at a Time. The blockbuster release has surpassed all others, moving more than 3.3 million equivalent units. It is the only title to have moved over two million copies, at least so far. With 15 nonconsecutive weeks at the top of the Billboard 200, Wallen’s album has already made its mark and may regain its dominance soon.
