UK retail sales volume rises 0.7% in June, beating estimates

On quarterly basis, retail sales volumes rose by 0.4% in the three months to June compared with the three months to March.

Looking at the breakdown, food stores sales contributed 0.3% to retail sales growth on the month while non-food stores sales contributed 0.4%.
