Based in Harwell, United Kingdom, the company uses small satellites to collect data on issues like climate change by assessing atmospheric conditions, monitor the extent of polar ice caps, sea levels, and deforestation, among other things. Open Cosmos then shares this information to provide users with “actionable data” around the energy transition and natural resource monitoring.
