U2 is inching ever closer to the all-time record for the most hits on one of Billboard’s radio charts as they land another win. This week, the band returns to the Adult Alternative Airplay chart with their latest single, “Atomic City,” and in doing so, they continue to close the gap between themselves and another beloved alt act.
“Atomic City” debuts at No. 17 on this week’s edition of the Adult Alternative Airplay chart, which ranks the songs that perform the best across adult-leaning alternative rock radio stations in the U.S. The quartet has now collected thirty-two hits on the tally throughout their years together.
