Lithium Americas Corp. (NYSE:LAC) shares are trading lower on Thursday. The stock has largely been in a downtrend since early October when it began trading as a public company, independent of Lithium Americas (Argentina) Corp.
What To Know: On Oct. 3, the company announced it completed its separation into two independent public companies. Lithium Americas Corp. became Lithium Americas (Argentina) Corp. (TSX:LAAC) (NYSE:LAAC) and Lithium Americas Corp.(TSX:LAC) (NYSE:LAC) formed as an independent publicly traded company.
While shares of the new company were volatile in the first week, the stock has since trended downward over October.
