European equities traded cautiously on Monday, as traders hoped the US Federal Reserve might soon halt its tightening campaign, while Greece’s stock market soared following the parliamentary election.
Europe’s region-wide Stoxx 600 gained 0.1 per cent, recouping early morning losses, yet France’s Cac 40 and Germany’s Dax both lost 0.1 per cent.
