China is weighing stimulus measures to boost faltering economic growth and weak market confidence, Bloomberg reported. This follows the central bank unexpectedly cutting a short-term policy rate on Tuesday.
The measures being considered aim to support areas including real estate and domestic demand. Interest rate cuts are also being weighed, the report said citing unnamed sources, adding that the State Council may discuss the proposals as soon as Friday.
