Croce Plays Croce 50th Anniversary Tour Celebrates Legend Jim Croce

Laced with love, insight, and celebration, Croce Plays Croce 50th Anniversary Tour has been a long time coming for those who have embraced the work of singer and songwriter A.J. Croce and his late father, the legendary artist Jim Croce, who died in a plane crash on September 20, 1971. His death occurred only 18 months into his professional career and just days away from his son’s second birthday.

Kicking off October 27, 2023, the tour, created by Billboard-charting musician A.J. Croce, now 52, marks the 50th anniversary of the last two records his father made. It also coincides with the October 13, 2023 release of The Definitive Croce the 3 CD/LP compilation project that includes the iconic albums Life and Times (1973), I Got A Name (1973) and You Don’t Mess Around with Jim (1972).
