Luka Doncic is in rare company. Again. As the Dallas Mavericks close out October with a 3-0 record, the Slovenian superstar is putting on a dazzling basketball skill and shotmaking display that has Dallas off to its best start since 2004.
Doncic is now the third player in NBA history to have multiple 30-point triple-doubles through the season’s first three games—Oscar Robertson had three in 1961 and Russell Westbrook had two in 2016. He is also the first player to lead his team outright in points, rebounds and assists through the first three games.
