Netflix has greenlit the adult dark animated fantasy-themed Castlevania-Nocturne for a second season, with the expected availability on an unconfirmed date in 2024. Based on the Konami video game series and set in 1792 during the French Revolution, Castlevania: Nocturne picks up 300 years after the end of the original Castlevania series, which aired for four seasons (from 2017-2021).
“Thanks to all of the Castlevania fans old and new for the amazing response and support! We are excited to be able to bring you more Castlevania: Nocturne and the next chapter in the rise of Richter Belmont,” said Creator/Showrunner/Writer Clive Bradley and Showrunner Kevin Kolde in a statement.
