Brighton know how to use the transfer market better than most clubs. Alexis Mac Allister is seemingly next in line.
Signed for just €8m from Argentinos Juniors in 2019, Mac Allister is now a key figure for Brighton. He is also a World Cup winner after helping Argentina to glory in Qatar last winter. Mac Allister’s contribution was notable and alerted several elite level clubs to the potential of the 24-year-old midfielder.
