Russia and Turkey to discuss possible new grain deal
Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Turkey counterpart will discuss the possibility of launching a new Black Sea grain deal when they meet this week, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Wednesday.
Under a plan proposed by Moscow, Russia would send a million metric tons of disocunted grain to Turkey, where it would then be processed and sent to countries most in need, the Foreign Ministry said, according to Reuters.
