Some may find Matt Rogers’ latest venture a bit surprising given his background. For Rogers, though, there are more similarities than one might think.
The entrepreneur, known for designing the iPhone and cofounding smart thermostat startup Nest, is debuting his latest venture, Mill, a company focused on reducing food waste, alongside cofounder and former Nest director Harry Tannenbaum. The startup has already raised about $100 million from investors like Google Ventures, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Energy Impact Partners, Lowercarbon, and Prelude.
