But in recent weeks, some of the goodwill toward Tucker has turned into discontent as a series of job cuts — and the fear of more to come — paralyzes many in the newsroom. Business Insider talked to a dozen insiders for this story; many of them said they’d felt a shift from optimism to angst regarding Tucker and the newsroom generally. Some have taken to naming Tucker’s No. 2, the managing editor Liz Harris, who has announced many of the cuts, the “angel of death.”
