Now, we’re turning to the average rent in Boston, and it too has reached historic heights in late 2022. Evaluating data sourced from Zillow’s Zillow Observed Rent Index (ZORI), which is seasonally adjusted, the average rent in Boston has reached a level that surpasses places like New York City and San Jose, and is just barely behind that of San Francisco.
